Adrenaline seekers are being invited to take part in a thrilling abseil challenge to support the KentOnline Charity of the Year.

Participants at the Maidstone Abseil can raise money for the Kent Air Ambulance Trust.

The abseil is being held on Sunday, March 25 at Miller House, in Lower Stone Street.

Simon Dolby, from the KM Charity Team, organisers of the event, urged people to take the challenge.

"This is a thrilling way to raise money for such a good cause." he said.

"The rooftop location gives superb views of the county town as an added perk for participants."

Two abseil ropes will be fixed to the roof of the building, enabling brave participants to abseil 200ft down the side.

Visit the KM Charity Challenge website to book your place.

The event is being supported by Maidstone Scaffolding, KRBS and Day, Smith & Hunter (DSH) chartered accountants and business advisors.

Anyone who would like to sponsor the event should phone Rhian Hopkins at the KM Charity Team on 08442 640294.
