Two men charged with Greenhithe shooting appear in court

Two men charged after a shooting in Greenhithe earlier this month have appeared in court.

Billy Nelson Smith, 24, of Moorhen Walk in Greenhithe and Billy Smith, 42, of Hillhouse Road in Stone appeared at Maidstone Crown Court charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

The father and son were arrested after a 51-year-old man was shot in the head and stomach on Monday August 1.

The pair were remanded in custory until Friday October 7.

A 19-year-old woman and 44-year-old woman, both from Sidcup, and a 23-year-old woman from Greenhithe remain on bail while investigations continue.
