Two teenagers are to stand trial after denying the murder of a man who died of stab wounds at a flat in Northfleet earlier this year.

Tommy Presley, 18, of Bankside, Northfleet, and a 17-year-old youth, from Gravesend, are alleged to have killed 29-year-old James Green.

Both wearing grey shirts, they spoke only to be identified and enter their not guilty pleas at Maidstone Crown Court today.

Mr Green was found with fatal knife wounds at the flat in Fishermen's Hill on June 21.

Presley and the other teenager, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, will stand trial on November 26.

It is expected to last three weeks. They were remanded in custody.

Judge Jeremy Carey said a pre-trial review would be held in the week beginning November 5.
