Vandal targets silver-coloured cars

PAINTWORK on several cars in a Kent town - all of them coloured silver - has been damaged by corrosive.

An Audio Quattro and a VW Polo parked in Wave Crest, Whitstable, suffered damage estimated, in total, at around £320. A VW Sharan parked at Cushings Wall suffered damage estimated at £200.

A green car, a Land Rover discovery, parked in Island Wall, was also damaged by the corrosive, causing damage estimated at around £800.

All the incidents happened overnight between the September 16-17.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “It is very strange that almost all the cars involved are silver. This may indicate that someone has a grudge to settle.”
