Young biker killed in crash

A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision with a farm vehicle on a country road near Canterbury.

It happened at 4.50pm on Saturday on the Bossingham Road at Stelling Minnis when the rider and his machine hit a muck spreader. He was killed instantly.

The victim has not yet been named but is said to be a local man aged in his early twenties.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident and to anyone who saw the motorcyclist, who was riding a red 125cc Cagiva, shortly before the collision.
