The accident happened just after a hump-backed bridge in Gravelly Ways, Laddingford, near Yalding at around 9.35pm Wednesday.

The victim, who was local to the area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 28-year-old male passenger in the black Renault was taken to Kent and Sussex Hospital and treated for serious injuries, although they are not thought to be life threatening.
