THE Charlton players locked themselves in the dressing room after the 5-1 debacle at Tottenham for what manager Les Reed described as a "very honest discussion".

Reed said: "It would have been easy for the players to have sat in silence and then gone home with their tails between their legs.

"That wasn’t the case and I was pleased with the amount of contributions from virtually every member of the squad.

"The conclusion was that we’re good enough to get ourselves out of trouble and we’ve got to pull together to do it."
