Admission prices reduced for Chelsea tie

CHELSEA today dangled the carrot of cut-price admission to Gillingham supporters in an attempt to boost the attendance for their Worthington Cup, third round, tie at Stamford Bridge on November 6.

Gillingham’s allocation of 3,200 tickets have been priced at £25 for adults and £11 concessions.

Gills fans have been allocated the entire lower tier of the Matthew Harding Stand behind a goal. Prices represent a reduction on normal matchday admission as Chelsea normally charge £28 to sit in the section. The club are also offering rare concessions for away supporters.

But Chelsea’s West Stand Upper tier will not be available on the night. Season ticket holders should receive 80 per cent of tickets received.
