BROMLEY were left disappointed at not taking maximum points after recovering from a disastrous start against Maidenhead in the Blue Square South on Saturday.

Despite having the kick off, Bromley were a goal behind after only 24 seconds when they lost possession and a long ball found Manny Williams who flicked it on for Jefferson Louis to score.

The visitors almost doubled their lead in the second minute, before Bromley began to settle down and equalised in the 20th minute.

Sam Wood's shot was not dealt with by keeper Chico Ramos and Simon Glover followed up and to score from close range.

The visitors had a chance cleared off the line on the stroke of half-time when Jake Bradshaw beat keeper Andy Walker but Ben Judge got the ball away.

Bromley started to dominate in the last 20 minutes, and had a few good chances to win it, but a combination of poor finishing and good goalkeeping meant it remained all-square.

Wood made a good long run before laying the ball off to Luke I'Anson but he hurried his shot and dragged the ball across the face of the goal and wide. Ramos then pulled off a good save from Gareth Williams' shot on the turn.
