Aylesford Bulls do battle with Whitstable on Saturday

Aylesford Bulls romped to a 65-12 Kent Cup win over Whitstable on Saturday, but lost Paul Hyland and prop forward Karl Hutchings.

Hyland was taken to hospital with a serious injury following a clash of heads with team-mate Andy Dawling, while Hutchings suffered a dislocated shoulder, after falling awkwardly in the move that led to replacement Ollie Cargill scoring the Bulls final try.

Winger Mark Beaumont and centre Mark Dorman both ran in hat-tricks with other scores by winger Gary Johnson, No 8 Lee Evans and centre Matt Newton.

Aylesford now face holders Canterbury on Saturday January 17.
