Ebbsfleet United won the Kent Senior Cup for the seventh time in their history after securing a 4-0 win over Cray Wanderers at Hayes Lane on Saturday.

Manager Liam Daish fielded a strong side with no members of the club's PASE scheme in the starting line-up. New signing Michael Gash made his debut while trialist Kezie Ibe was also given a run-out.

Fleet opened the scoring after 35 minutes when Cray goalkeeper Grant Hall parried Ricky Shakes cross into the path of Luke Moore who slotted home from close range.

In the second half, Fleet doubled their lead when Moore and Craig Stone combined to set up Stacy Long who fired past Hall.

Long was then fouled in the area and Moore scored the resulting penalty. Fleet made it four just a minute later when substitute George Purcell converted Moore's right-wing cross.

Ebbsfleet: Cronin, Hawkins, Opinel (Ricketts 80mins), Smith, Charles, Barrett (Purcell 76mins), Stone, Long, Shakes, Moore, Gash (Ibe 69mins). Subs not used: Mott, Appiah.

Attendance: 648.
