ILLNESS has forced Kent boxer Johnny Armour to postpone his fight at London’s York Hall on Sunday.

The 37-year-old bantamweight, from Chatham, has been suffering from flu, forcing him to stay out of the gym for the past fortnight.

A disappointed Armour said: "I thought I would have been able to shake it off but it knocked me out. I even gave it to the kids and they have had to miss school."

Armour intends to get back in the ring in May. Victory against an opponent still to be decided will hopefully set him up for a clash with British bantamweight champion Martin Power.
