Gillingham v Oldham

TWO wins in a week have put Gillingham right back in the League 1 promotion shake-up but manager Ronnie Jepson is remaining cautious.

He knows his squad needs to keep the run going if they are to make a charge toward the play-offs and Saturday's opponents at Priestfield, Oldham, will pose a big challenge.

Jepson stressed: "In this league you just need consistency and a lot of teams like ourselves are up and down. It’s the teams that can find that consistency that will be up there with a shout."

Gillingham's Boxing Day victory over Leyton Orient extended Gillingham’s unbeaten home run to six games.

"It’s very important that we get points at Priestfield which we are doing at the moment," added Jepson.
