Simon King has overcome an ankle injury and makes the Gillingham starting eleven for today’s game against Macclesfield.

The central defender replaces Garry Richards, who takes to the bench, while on-loan full-back Rene Steer keeps his place in the line-up.

In attack the Gills manager Mark Stimson has kept leading scorer Simeon Jackson on the bench.

Mulligan suffered a groin injury during Gillingham’s 4-4 draw with Aldershot on Tuesday.
