Manager Martin Allen is unlikely to tinker with his Gills team too much this weekend.

The last time the Gills met Bristol City, in the Capital One Cup back on August 6, Allen made five changes to his starting XI and the hosts lost 2-0.

“They played their full first team that night,” said Allen.

“I played all of our subs (from the Saturday game). This Saturday it will be different.

“All of the players are doing well and if anyone doesn’t play on Saturday, it’s not because they didn’t do well (last weekend). I thought everyone did well. We may freshen it up, we will see.”

Gillingham have no new injury concerns but are likely to be without midfielder Amine Linganzi once again.
