CHARLTON midfielder Andy Reid has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad, despite not having played since mid-December.

Reid only resumed training at the end of last week following a knee injury sustained against West Brom on December 15.

Ireland face Brazil at Dublin's Croke Park on Wednesday, February 6.

Meanwhile, Darren Randolph has been selected for Ireland Under-21s squad to face England in a European Championship qualifier at St Mary's on Tuesday, February 5.
