SHEPPEY’S Kirsty Wilson, 14, won a team gold medal in the South East Girls UK School Games in Coventry in an event designed to replicate Olympic competition.

Wilson, who plays at Howard Table Tennis Club in Rainham, was part of a four-girl team taking on teams from across the UK and although she did not compete in the final, she won her games against Wale and Northern Ireland in previous rounds.
