LUKE YOUNG: made his England debut in May 2005

CHARLTON captain Luke Young has been called up for England's Euro 2008 qualifiers with Israel and Andorra.

Right back Young joined up with Steve McClaren's squad after Micah Richards underwent tests on a calf injury.

First choice full back Gary Neville had been ruled out after sustaining an ankle injury in Manchester United's victory over Bolton on Saturday.

Young made his England debut in May 2005 when he came on as a substitute against the USA.

He has made seven appearances for his country, with his last game coming in the 3-2 win over Argentina in November 2005.

An ankle injury prevented him from being available for selection for the 2006 World Cup.
