Wellbeing Symposium at Kent Showground, Detling, shows companies how to keep their staff happy

Experts in keeping employees happy will reveal the secrets to a contented staff at the second Wellbeing Symposium today.

HR professionals and business leaders will hear from speakers like nutritionalist and TV presenter Amanda Ursell and Lord Howe, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department of Health.

After a programme of talks in the morning, a series of workshops from motivational coaches and health managers will run in the afternoon.

Run by Pilory Barn Events and Wellbeing People, the conference aims to give tips and guidance on making staff more productive, more reliable and better able to do their job.

Wellbeing People managing director Ben McGannan said: “The Wellbeing Symposium is about showcasing best practice in the prevention of employee absence, good healthcare and sustainable health.

The symposium takes place at the Kent Event Centre, Detling.
