Biker dies after crash in Cranbrook Road, Hawkhurst

A man has died after coming off his motorbike and being hit by a car in Hawkhurst.

The collision happened on Cranbrook Road at 5.25pm on Monday as the 35-year-old travelled towards Sussex.

He was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury where he died. His family have been informed.

The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene and re-opened at 9.10pm

The driver of the car was not injured.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or the vehicles shortly before the crash.
