Those who like their rugby, beer and rock n’ roll should head down to the Hero Sevens tournament on Sunday, August 30.
Organised by former Royal Engineer and Aylesford Bulls player Dale Rees, the tournament will raise money for the Help for Heroes charity and take place at the home of the Bulls - The Jack Williams Ground - in Hall Road, Aylesford.
Sixteen men’s teams will compete in the seven-a-side tournament, starting at 11am, while a second tournament will be contested by eight female teams.
A youth challenge match between Kent and Sussex under-18s and under-15s girls will take place at 2pm.
There will be fun for all the family with a children’s area, bouncy castle, beer tent, trade stands, barbecue - including Fijian, South African and British food - and an outdoor music stage.
Among the bands on show will be up-and-coming Kent favourites like All Day Falling, The Rebels, Sunny Ray, and many more, including pub-rock legends Sultan.
DJ Andy Walker, of kmfm’s breakfast show, will also be there.
