Heavy rain causes disruption on Maidstone's roads including Sheals Crescent and Rocky Hill

Drivers are warned to take care on Maidstone's roads after today's heavy downpours.

Motorists may face delays in some parts of the town where excess water has flooded the carriageway.

Sheals Crescent was impassable but engineers quickly cleared the scene and traffic is now moving again.

Another team is working to pump away excessive surface water at the junction of London Road and Rocky Hill.
