Tonbridge have agreed new contracts with three more players committing themselves to the club until the end of next season.

Keeper Lee Worgan, and midfielders Lee Browning (pictured) and Chris Piper complete boss Tommy Warrilow’s initial squad building plans, at least for the time being.

They follow top scorer Frannie Collin, Nathan Koranteng, Sonny Miles and new signing Ollie Schulz who have all signed extended deals.

Warrilow said: "The three are pivotal to my plans, and again had no hesitation in signing.

"It’s now time to hold fire on things and take stock of where we are. Other players are asking me what’s happening, but I can’t give everyone a new deal, which is not saying they are not in my plans."

Tonbridge could go seventh with victory at home to Truro on Saturday and other results go their way, ahead of a trip to Eastleigh next Tuesday.

Warrilow said: "The sides just above us are all well-established clubs, but I want to pick up points ahead of tricky games coming up against Chelmsford, Woking and Dover. Nobody expects us to pick anything up from them, but I do."

Jake Beecroft has joined Whitstable, while reserve keeper Joe Hagan has been released. Warrilow wants to sign experienced cover for Worgan before next week’s deadline.
