Maidstone United summer signing Ian Draycott is facing a week on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

The striker (pictured) tweaked ligaments during the first half of Maidstone’s win against Dagenham on Tuesday and will be missing when Tonbridge visit the Gallagher Stadium on Saturday.

Boss Jay Saunders said: "There was nothing wrong with the challenge that put him out of the game, it was a good tackle.

"Having our own physio room down at the ground means we can have a good look at the injury.

"He’s done well for us, so fingers crossed he’ll be back by next Saturday."

Saunders is set to shuffle his pack for the Tonbridge game.

He added: "We’ve got a big squad and we need to make sure everyone gets playing time.

"Tommy Warrilow (Tonbridge boss) is a good mate of mine and he’s built a great side, so I’m looking forward to the game."
