Maidstone's FA Trophy first round tie with Histon has fallen foul of the weather for the fourth time.

The Stones clash with the Blue Square Premier side was originally scheduled for Saturday, December 12, but the pitch at Ashford's Homelands ground was unplayable.

Two further attempts to get the game on before Christmas were derailed by frozen pitches and snow and Tuesday night's game was postponed after a pitch inspection on Tuesday morning.

The game has been rescheduled for 3pm on Saturday - the same day that second round matches in the competition are being held across the country.

All the other non-league games involving Kent sides were also postponed.
