Parents' tribute to

DEVASTATED parents of a teenager who died at her family home have paid tribute to “a gifted girl with a personality that could light up a room".

Hannah Bond , a 13-year-old pupil at Mascalls School, Paddock Wood, was found dead shortly after midnight on Sunday, September 23.

In a touching tribute, her parents, Heather and Ray Bond, of Old Road, East Peckham, spoke of their daughter’s love of animals.

According to her parents, Hannah dreamed of becoming a veterinary nurse.

Her mother said: “Although Hannah had only just reached her teenage years, she managed to pack an enormous amount into her lifetime during which she made a wide circle of friends.

“These friendships stretched all over the country due to her prowess as a sportswoman and horse rider.”

A relative said: “The whole family will miss Hannah’s sparkling personality.”

An inquest into Hannah’s death has been opened and adjourned.

A thanksgiving service for her life takes place today (Friday) at St Lawrence’s Church, Mereworth, at 2.30pm.
