Police called after reports girl was knocked out by a punch near McDonald's in Week Street, Maidstone

A girl is believed to have been 'knocked out cold' after an incident near McDonald's in Maidstone town centre.

A witness described reports of a gang of girls hanging around the fast food eaterie before dispersing after the alleged assault took place.

Police are investigating the incident which happened at around 3.50pm yesterday in Week Street.

Paramedics were also called.
