Safe crackers got away with cash in a late night raid on a commercial garage.
The thieves broke into the safe in the garage in Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, overnight on Bank Holiday Monday and Tuesday, August 28.
A diagnostic machine made by Delphi was reported to have been stolen, and a safe was broken into and money taken.
DC Andrew Felton from Kent Police said: “The diagnostic machine that was stolen is worth around £2,000 and we would like to hear from anyone who has been offered a machine such as this. We are following up lines of enquiry but would like to speak to anyone who has been offered equipment, or who saw anything suspicious on the evening.”
Anyone who can help should call police on 101, quoting crime reference YY/15523/12, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
