A boy and two young men have been charged after airgun pellets were fired at drivers on the M20.

The trio are accused of conspiracy to cause criminal damage over the attacks while the road was at its busiest with commuter traffic.

Kent Police received three reports of their moving vehicles being struck on October 16 last year.

At least one motorist was injured while driving on the M20 near the M26 junction at Wrotham.

Daniel Honey, 20, of The Chestnuts, in Addington, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy - both from Maidstone - will appear before Sevenoaks magistrates on Wednesday, March 27.
