A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with a leg injury after a collision with another biker in Maidstone.

It happened just after 11am at the Cobtree roundabout on the A229 at Junction 6 of the M20.

Police and teams from South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the rider was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

The slip road has now reopened.

Just minutes after the crash, Kent Police was called to another collision involving a car and a lorry on the A229 Bishops Way.

One lane on the Chatham-bound carriageway has been closed while police respond to the accident.

Nobody is thought to have been injured.

Drivers are being warned to avoid the area where possible.
