The 28-year-old enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career under Hayrettin as Maidstone won the National South title in 2022, becoming a firm crowd favourite.

He was also made captain by Hayrettin last season after Gavin Hoyte suffered a dislocated shoulder.

The pair enjoyed an excellent relationship and it’s no surprise to see them link up again as Hamlet target an immediate return to National South following their relegation on goal difference.

Binnom-Williams told Hamlet’s website: “Hak and Terry (Harris, assistant manager) gave me an opportunity at Maidstone when I was really unfit, and helped turn me into a National League South winner, so I am really respectful to them.

“As soon as they called me up, I wanted to play for them again, knowing how much I enjoyed it last time.”
