A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after colliding with a van.

Police and medics were called to Station Road, Aylesford, shortly after 6pm, on Thursday, after a crash between a black Suzuki and Ford Transit.

A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.

Officers are now appealing for information and dashcam footage.

A police spokesman said: "The van driver stopped following the collision and an investigation is ongoing.

"Police are now urging drivers in the area to check dashcams which may hold important footage.

"They also asking nearby residents to review doorbell cameras or privately held CCTV."
