A man has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after being struck by a car.

Police were called to the suspected hit and run in Park Drive, Kings Hill last night.

The driver failed to stop after the collision at 7.47pm.

Officers have since recovered a Ford Fiesta which was found parked nearby.

Ambulance crews also attended with the assistance of a police helicopter.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
