Victim left with fractured eye socket after Gillingham attack

A man was left with a fractured eye socket after being attacked in Gillingham.

Police say the victim was in the High Street at 1.15am on Saturday, when he was approached by a group of three to four men.

After a brief exchange of words one person from the group is alleged to have assaulted the victim by pushing him to the floor and then punching him in his face and body.

Following the assault the victim was left with serious facial injuries including a fractured eye socket.

The offender is described as white with blonde hair, approximately five feet 10 inches tall, aged between 20 and 30 and of slim build.

He was wearing blue jeans with a grey top.
