Kevin Parrish threatens to make changes to Invicta Dynamos squad

Kevin Parrish has warned his Invicta Dynamos players that he won’t accept another weekend of woe.

Dynamos ended a five-game winless run by beating Streatham Redskins on Saturday but were beaten 8-3 by Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday.

It was the team’s fifth loss of the season in what has been a stop-start campaign for Parrish’s side. And for the head coach, enough is enough.

He said: "It was a good win on Saturday but then we’ve gone away to Chelmsford and it just wasn’t good enough.

"We’re running out of time and it needs to happen now. If it doesn’t, then unfortunately changes will need to be made.

"We can’t carry on waiting for things to get better. It has to get better this weekend and I’ve told them all. If they weren’t listening then, they will know when they read this.

"There are guys waiting on the sidelines to come in and maybe a couple of new faces will shake things up.

"I have been patient and don’t sign a team to sack a team. I don’t like making changes during the season because I want the players to bond."

The Dynamos begin their Southern Cup campaign away at Oxford City Stars on Saturday and follow that up with a home game against Chelmsford in the South East Trophy on Sunday.
