Commuters trying to get to work on the Medway City Estate faced tailbacks on Wednesday morning after a car and a motorbike crashed at a busy roundabout.

The emergency services, including police and the ambulance service, were called out to the Four Elms Roundabout at about 8.30am.

Officers closed one lane off the roundabout at the Waincscott Bypass while they dealt with the indecent.

As a result, there was a heavy build up of traffic in the area.

A Medway Police spokesman said: "A car and motorbike collided, causing minor injuries to the motorcyclist."
