Key partners Shepherd Neame will provide a charity bar offering great value beverages, and Barclays Bank will kindly double all funds raised for good causes with the hope of accumulating a record figure.

Teams will enjoy a selection of individual prize opportunities on the night including the Win in 10 Challenge for Eurostar tickets, Heads or Tails, as well as a large charity raffle offering a wealth of fantastic gifts.

Beneficiaries of the Canterbury Big Charity Quiz include the Kentish Gazette’s charity of the year Pilgrims Hospice in East Kent, The League of Friends at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, and children’s road safety services.

Quizmaster Simon Dolby of the KM Charity Team which organises the annual event, said: “The Canterbury quiz always serves up a fun-filled night out that’s both affordable and rewarding. We are looking to break records this year and really give our charities a vital boost of funds, so we hope many people come out to take part and help us achieve this goal.”
