More of firm's apartments on the market

FOLLOWING the successful launch and sales of zones A and B, Environ Sunley has announced the release of some of its new apartments at zone C of its award-winning Lacuna development in West Malling.

Sales and marketing director for Sunley, Pam Reardon, explains why the development is going from strength to strength: “People just love the unique properties here. They are original, well thought out and offer a superb contemporary living environment, not to mention the attractively landscaped gardens. If the success of zones A and B are anything to go by, the new release of properties in zone C won’t be around for long.”

Mike Rowley, a resident at Lacuna, also sings the scheme’s praises: “I really love the feel of the whole project. The design of the streets and the way they’ve laid everything out is excellent. The house is just so light and bright, and nothing else I saw had so much airiness about it.”

The Lacuna development has recently won Environ Sunley its most prestigious accolade to date - the Government-backed, Building for Life Gold Standard Award. The tribute is part of an initiative between the Commission for Architecture & the Built Environment, the House Building Federation and the Civic Trust, which aims to reward the builders of high quality new developments and increase awareness of the importance of good architecture among the house-buying public.

Simon Beck of Clague, the firm of architects appointed to weave its design magic at Lacuna, said: “At Lacuna, we really set out to combine architecture with living. There are interesting spaces inside and they also relate to their environment, particularly external spaces and streets. We’ve tried to create open living areas for family and friends to enjoy together, as well as private spaces.”

The apartments range from £190,000 for two-bedroom second-floor apartments to £299,000 for a two-bedroom duplex apartment with two en suites.
