TWENTY-EIGHT members of staff at a Kent city supermarket Morrisons Canterbury are celebrating 10 years of service at the store.

The former Safeway premises at Ten Perch Road, Canterbury, opened for business in June, 1996, and of the 336 staff currently employed at the store, 28 have worked there since the first day of trading.

The store converted to a Morrisons in September, last year.

Dave Denham, store general manager, said: "Everyone at the store is delighted to be able to celebrate 10 years of trading and I’d like to thank all of the staff and our loyal customers for their support over the last decade."
