Register with CV matching service and win a holiday

ALL job seekers who register on Kent Messenger’s CV Bank service before the end of January will be entered into a free prize draw to win a weekend for two in Paris.

CV Bank, a free job and CV matching service, has just celebrated its 123,000th registration in the UK – with over 11,000 in Kent alone making it the county's largest unique database of current job seekers.

The service, provided by the Kent Messenger Group via its recruitment web site www.kentjobs.co.uk and over 550 other newspapers across the country, matches candidate profiles with employers’ vacancies using the latest technology and a points-scoring system.

Launched by Kent Messenger Group in 2004, the service invites you to enter your CV profile online. The candidate does not require a CV beforehand to use the service, which caters for all industry sectors and levels of employment.

CV Bank will search through thousands of vacancies and find those that are based in the candidate's chosen location, match the candidate's job wishes and previous experience and present a list of options ranked out of 1,000 points depending on how closely they match the profile.

The "matchmail" function searches through all the new vacancies loaded onto CV Bank every night, and acts as a headhunting service for the candidate, informing them of relevant new jobs.

The service is free, over 550 newspaper titles contribute to the service and more than 15,000 jobs being added nationwide every month.
