Two men have been arrested after Island police raided a pub.

Officers went to the Queen Phillippa in High Street, Queenborough, at about 5.30pm yesterday (Thursday).

Police seized a large amount of cocaine, amphetamines and cannabis as well as about 20 cannabis plants.

There was also around £300 of counterfeit currency.

Inspector Noel Stanley says officers acted after receiving a tip off from a member of the public.

The two men are currently in police custody.
