Police are investigating after a man was hit by a car at traffic lights in Sittingbourne.
St Paul's Street was shut between Mill Way and Staplehurst Road for 40 minutes following the accident at 10.20am today.
An ambulance service spokesman said the man, thought to be about 60, was bleeding heavily having suffered a cut head and nose.
He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham after receiving treatment at the roadside for half an hour.
