Sittingbourne boss Joe Dowley has vowed to make changes this weekend.

The Brickies lost 4-0 at Faversham on Tuesday and have now not scored in their last four Ryman League Division 1 South games. Their last goal was Hicham Akazzan’s strike in the 2-1 win against Crawley Down in November.

Dowley (pictured) said: "The lack of goals is killing us and has gone on for too long now. I have given everyone enough chances and the chairman has given me the go-ahead to bring in a couple of players.

"The first half on Tuesday was fairly even but one mistake saw us go 1-0 down. Luke Coleman then missed a one-on-one and Faversham went up the other end and scored again."

Coleman and Joe Nwoko shot straight at Faversham keeper Rob French but Aaron Quain and Adrian Stone both scored twice to give Faversham maximum points.

Bourne travel to Ramsgate on Saturday (kick-off 1pm), before hosting Maidstone on Bank Holiday Monday (3pm).

Dowley added: "I have got a couple of players in mind that I would like to bring in. One is a striker and the other is a defender but getting them in is another matter."
