CCTV image released following vehicle thefts in Stanley Road, Ramsgate

CCTV images have been released after a stolen vehicle was found abandoned and damaged.

A burglary was reported to have taken place at an address in Stanley Road, Ramsgate, between 3am and 4am on March 26 when keys were taken.

A vehicle was then stolen from outside the property and it was later found in a damaged state in Manktelow Court.

As part of their inquiries, officers have released two images of a man they would like to speak to as he may be able to assist the investigation.

Investigating officer DC Matthew Burridge said: “We hope someone may be able to identify the man through the clothing he is wearing, and we also ask that anyone with information regarding the burglary and vehicle theft to contact the police.”

Witnesses, or anyone with private CCTV or doorbell footage from the area of Stanley Road, Queensgate Road or Manktelow Court, should call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting 46/50011/24.
