Injured biker taken to hospital after Ramsgate crash

A man was rushed to hospital following a crash involving a car and a motorbike.

Emergency services were called to the scene in St Luke's Avenue, Ramsgate, on Saturday afternoon after the two-vehicle collision.

A woman in her 20s was arrested by officers on suspicion of drink-driving and dangerous driving, before being taken into custody.

A police spokesman told KentOnline: "At about 3.30pm on Saturday we were called to St Luke's Avenue.

"Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for injuries.

"He was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention."

The suspect was later bailed to return to the police station on May 24.

It is understood that the motorcyclist's injuries are not life-threatening.
