Police called to Vale Road, Ramsgate after man stabbed in back

A man has been stabbed in the back in Ramsgate.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was attacked in Vale Road at about 5.30pm yesterday.

He was taken to a London hospital with an injury to his back "consistent with a knife wound".

Officers remained at the scene this morning to carry out enquiries and establish the circumstances of the incident.
