Clifton Street in Margate closed by fire service due to falling debris from houses

A road that was cordoned off earlier due to fears someone could be injured by falling debris has now re-opened.

Firefighters were present at an incident in Clifton Street, Margate, involving 'structural damage' to houses along the road.

Two crews attended the scene and the houses involved were inspected.

There were no reported injuries but at the time firefighters asked nearby residents to be cautious of falling debris.
