Southeastern trains delayed in Margate after a lorry hit a railway bridge

Trains in and around Margate had to delayed after a lorry hit a railway bridge.

Southeastern engineers went on site to inspect the bridge for damage.

But none was found, and so trains are running normally again.

The train company Tweeted: "Trains through Margate are able to run normally as the bridge has been checked and there is no damage."
