Two charged after cocaine and cannabis found at home in Ramsgate

Police seized large quantities of cannabis and cocaine in a raid on a Ramsgate home.

Two men have been charged following the discovery of 2.3kg of cannabis and 490 grams of cocaine at a home in St Lawrence Chase in Ramsgate.

It comes after a Ford Transit van was stopped in Newington Road, Ramsgate at 11.40pm on Friday.

Two men were arrested and cash and three mobile phones seized.

Later, police searched a house in St Lawrence Chase in Ramsgate and seized drugs, cash, mobile phones and drugs paraphernalia.

Max Dent, 24, of Kimberley Road, Ramsgate was remanded in custody after appearing before a virtual court at Margate police station yesterday. He is charged with possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply.

Ryan Price, 20, of Royal Road, Ramsgate, was charged with possessing cannabis and released on police bail, to appear before magistrates on August 19.

Two other men were also arrested in Ramsgate at 2.20am on Sunday after a vehicle was stopped in High Street, St Lawrence.

The two, aged 19 and 22 and both from Ramsgate, were questioned about possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

Both have been released on bail until September 19.
