Angels' Trophy dreams come to an end

Tonbridge 0 AFC Wimbledon 4

TONBRIDGE'S FA Trophy run came to an abrupt halt with a heavy defeat at home to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

The Angels, who put out Conference side Oxford in the previous round, went behind when Daniel Webb opening the scoring with a left foot shot on 14 minutes.

Angels keeper Matt Read then saved a penalty from former Ebbsfleet player Mark DeBolla.

However, DeBolla made amends in first half stoppage time when he netted the visitors' second.

The visitors went on to add two further goals in the second half.

DeBolla's got his second on 58 minutes with a powerful shot, before things went from bad to worse for Angels with the dismissal of Tommy Tyne in the 65th minute.

A fine individual effort from Richard Jolly completed the rout right on full-time.
